Inthe special period of combating the COVID-19, to effectively reduce thegathering of people, avoid cross infection and block the spread of theepidemic, the Exit-Entry Center of XMFSC made full use of the online platformof “Exit Manager” to timely release and update the entry control measures andadjustment of visa policy all over the world. Meanwhile, the Exit-Entry Centerof XMFSC also promoted the online visa application service function on theonline platform of “Exit Manager”, which could satisfy applicants’ needs to“get a visa while staying at home”. During this period, a guest of a foreigntrade company who had to go to Japan to attend an exhibition was unable to cometo Xiamen to go through all the formalities. The guest quickly finished hisvisa application submission on the online platform of “Exit Manager” with ourhelp. He highly appreciated its convenience and said that he would applythrough this platform in the future.
Departmentof Exit & Entry Administration for Public Affairs which was dispatched toForeign Affairs Office of Xiamen Municipality (XMFAO) would suspend the on-siteacceptance of the materials, implement the “Off-Site Service” and adopt the“network entry plus express” model to handle various businesses since February3rd, according to the deployment of XMFAO.
